Who operates FolderSure

FolderSure is operated by Value Choice Technologies Private Limited. FolderSure is an Android app that helps users back up selected phone folders to their own Google Drive.

Information we may collect

• Google sign-in information needed to connect FolderSure to the Google account selected by you.
• Selected local folder names, folder URIs, and selected Google Drive folder references needed to run backup rules.
• File metadata needed for backup status, such as file name, size, modified time, upload state, and timestamps.
• App settings such as backup preferences, charging-only upload preference, pause/resume state, language choice, and App Lock preference.
• Purchase and entitlement information from Google Play Billing, such as product type, subscription or lifetime purchase status, and purchase state.
• Basic diagnostics, crash information, and device/app information needed to maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and support users.

Google Drive access

FolderSure uses limited Google Drive access to upload files selected by you. FolderSure uses the Google Drive drive.file permission scope, which is intended for files and folders the app creates or that you choose to use with the app.

FolderSure is designed as an upload-only backup tool. It does not delete, trash, or move your Google Drive files. Existing backed-up files remain under your control in your Google Drive account.

No backend database

FolderSure does not use a Value Choice backend database to store your backed-up files. Backup files are uploaded to your own Google Drive. Folder rules, upload state, and related app settings are stored primarily on your device unless required by Google services or Google Play Billing.

Free plan and Plus purchases

FolderSure may offer a Free plan with a total backup allowance and a Plus plan through Google Play Billing. Free users may have a 500 MB total backup limit. Plus users may receive higher or uncapped backup allowance based on the active purchase or subscription.

Payment processing is handled by Google Play Billing. FolderSure does not directly store full card, bank, UPI, or payment account details.

App Lock and device security

If you enable App Lock, FolderSure uses Android device lock or biometric security provided by your device. FolderSure does not receive or store your fingerprint, face data, device PIN, password, or biometric template.

How we use information

• To connect selected phone folders with selected Google Drive folders.
• To upload new files, show backup status, preserve file-size and upload metadata, and avoid duplicate handling where possible.
• To enforce Free and Plus plan limits where applicable.
• To provide App Lock, restore setup, language selection, support, diagnostics, and reliability improvements.
• To prevent misuse, investigate errors, comply with platform policies, and meet legal or regulatory requirements.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be processed by service providers only when needed to operate FolderSure, including Google Sign-In, Google Drive, Google Play Billing, Android platform services, diagnostics, hosting, support, security, or legal compliance.

International users

FolderSure may be available to users in multiple countries. By using FolderSure, you understand that app services, Google services, support handling, diagnostics, and legal processing may involve systems located in India or other countries where our service providers operate.

Retention and deletion

You can remove folder rules in the app and request account or data deletion from the account deletion page. Deleting FolderSure app data or requesting account deletion does not automatically delete files already uploaded to your Google Drive. You control those files directly in Google Drive.

Some records may be retained for a limited period where required for security, audit, fraud prevention, purchase verification, dispute handling, legal, tax, accounting, or compliance reasons.

Children

FolderSure is intended for users who can lawfully use Google Drive and Google Play services. Users should not submit information if they are not legally allowed to use the app or connected services.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we may update the effective date and publish the revised policy on this page.
